Happy Valentine's Day Bobby!

For reasons he understands - this part of my Valentine's Day gift is late... But it's done and here none the less... =-)

Bobby prepared an amazing meal (with some fun new kitchen utensils) for us as a part of my Valentine's Day present (the other part was our new iMac).

So here is the other part of my Valentine's Day gift to Bobby. Think of it as a reminder that despite anything that has or may happen - I will always love you! Plus one. =-)

Matt Dallas...

Okay....first....let's get this out of the way...Matt Dallas is HOT...I mean really hot... If you don't know who he is...Google him....it'll be worth it.

Anyway, with that background information out of the way - and keeping in mind that the background info wasn't a factor in what I'm about to type - I have no reason to believe this is true...but I think Matt Dallas is gay.

First off - apparently Perez Hilton outed him on the Howard Stern show. That's obviously far from a totally accurate source. However this story made me think it it must be true...

Plus my gaydar is going off like crazy... Well...I feel better getting that information out there...and I'm sure you do too... Uhmm....yeah...

Okay...I know this is starting to look like a commercial ad blog - and I swear that's not my intention....but here's another great ad....

I first saw this while visiting some ad agencies in NYC a few years ago. Apparently it won a bunch of awards - but never really aired much here in the US. The rumor is that it was banned....but I think it's brilliant...

1984 Apple's Mac Commercial

This is actually the beginning of Apple's marketing brilliance...and it's been going pretty solid since then. A few gaps were bad here and there...but hey for a 24 year run...that's not bad.

That said...it's been about 14 years since I've actually used a Mac as my main PC...

OMG! I LOVE the idea on an Obama-Clinton or a Clinton-Obama ticket!!! It never really seemed like a possibility...but it looks more promising now...that doesn't mean it looks realistic....but it's at least more promise than where it was say a week ago... It would be truly historical...

Really good contender for best commercial of 2008...

Okay...as you've already seen...American Express won my award for best commercial of 2007.

This ad (which probably did technically come out in 2007 I realize...but I'm choosing to ignore that slight technicality) is a early good contender for best commercial of 2008...

Macbook Air Ad

I'm once again impressed by the way Apple did an ad. I have stopped my TiVo a few times to watch this...mostly because I like the music to be honest... So essentially I like the music only...but by the 3 or 4th time I saw it I began to think "hey...this product they're showing with the music is pretty cool..."

Kudos to you Apple for another good ad...but I'm a PC guy and I've heard the Air sucks...so it didn't work......but still...kudos for the marketing!
