Lost my voice
I've managed to lose my voice...it's very inconvenient...
Anyone who knows me knows that...well...not talking isn't always easy
for me. I guess having pain when I talk is karma...

Obama's response to elitism attacks
Personally...I think the attacks are a bit silly... It seems a little desperate on the Clinton campaign's part. I can understand it coming from McCain...we're use to Republicans being eager to attack anything...but Clinton? That's just low and again..desperate...
Here's Obama's ad responding to the issue...
Jon Stewart's response was by far the most entertaining....

Wal-Mart, Drag, and Discrimination - need I say more?
Kudos to the folks at Pride At Work for putting this together...
Random junkyard in the woods
Bobby, Tribble and I were out for a walk earlier today in some woods not too far from our apartment. These woods are connected to a soccer field that borders a rather nice and new subdivision. There are no roads that really lead to where this stuff was dumped...so someone had to essentially walk a few hundred yards to leave it in the middle of the woods. It looks like it happened about 20 years ago or so. I'm trying to figure out what thought they were having when they dragged this stuff out there...
Anyway, I just wanted to post some photos just as a reminder that we have a long way to go in repairing the damage we've done to the environment. I'm hoping at some point to get a group together and clean it up...but you know...only so much time available to do so much...

The Fruitcake Lady
Normally I'm not a fan of Jay Leno...but this particular segment is rather amusing I must admit.

King on The History Channel
I saw this commercial on TV and was truly impressed with it!
I'm something of a history geek - so I'm really looking forward to this show airing!
